 Israeli passport holders traveling to France from Israel have the right to enter France without authorization, and to stay in France without a visa for a period of less than 90 days, regardless of the purpose of the stay. In order to be allowed to board and enter France, they must comply with the conditions listed above.

WARNING : they will also have to comply with the conditions of exit and return to the Israeli territory set up by the Israeli authorities.

 Foreign passport holders who are legal residents of Israel and who are subject to the visa requirement for entry into France must apply by e-mail and provide guarantees of a possibility of returning to Israel or to the country whose passport they hold.

 Israeli passport holders and foreign passport holders (except UE) who are legal residents of Israel and who wish to stay in France for more than 90 days must apply for a long-stay visa, regardless of the reason for their stay in France.

How do I know if I need a visa, and what documents to provide ?

Go to our website France Visas. All types of applications are listed, whatever your situation (your age, your nationality, your job, your country of origin and your destination), your destination (Metropolitan France, Overseas Departments and Regions, Overseas Territories...) the reason or duration of your stay. All necessary documents will be indicated.

IMPORTANT : The originals of all documents are required, along with a copy and, if necessary, a translation.

How do I apply for a visa ?

Online, via the website France Visas. This site will allow you to :
 print the pre-filled visa application form
 consult the supporting documents to be attached to your file
 make an appointment to submit your complete file to the Consulate General of France in Tel Aviv.

When to apply for my visa ?

You must apply for a visa at least 1 month before your planned departure date to France.

In some cases, and depending on your nationality, the reason for your stay, the supporting documents provided and the verifications to be made with regard to your file, the deadlines may be longer.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to take all necessary precautions and to submit his or her application within a timeframe that allows for its examination. Any incomplete file will be refused and will delay the issuance of the visa.]

What language should the documents be in ?

Your application will be processed in Paris. For this reason, all documents provided must be in French or English. Documents in other languages must be translated and the translation accompanied by the original document.

How much does a visa cost, and where to pay ?

Payment is in shekel by credit card only, at the counter when you apply. These fees are non-refundable.

For a visa, the application fee is the equivalent in local currency of 80 euros for a short stay, 99 euros for a long stay. To check the exchange rate please click here.
