The Israeli embassy, located on Avenue of the Observatory at Uccle, was partly evacuated Wednesday after information has been published on the internet reports of threats of attack against the embassy, said Joods Actueel magazine on its website .

According to the Crisis Centre of the Federal Interior, the decision to evacuate was made by the security chief of the embassy. Local police Uccle was made aware of information published online.

These would include messages published on social networks like Facebook calling a strike against the embassy. As in the past, various Israeli embassies around the world have been the target of attacks, security chief of the embassy were willing to take any risk and staff were invited, from 13:00 to go home, if desired.
