There´s a worldwide petition initiative to award Nicholas Winton with Nobel Peace Prize. I think it can be a superb gift to Nicky´s birthday. So why not to join in the petition?

We live in very turbulent times. Our future often looks bleak as there is in the world so much misery, greed and general collapse of basic values like ordinary human decency, honesty and tolerance. But people all over the world look for some HOPE, SPARK OF LIGHT, INSPIRATION how to live. And the story of the rescue of 669 children is exactly such a story. It shows that one man with his colleagues CAN CHANGE THE HISTORY. It motivates people inFrance, the USA, Canada, Australia, Europe and elsewhere to do something good for others as Sir Winton did seventy years ago. This way we can all become members of his family, which doesn´t consist only from his son, daughter, grandchildren, his rescued children, their families represent today more than 6000 people, but all of us who care about the others, about the planet, about the future CAN BECOME MEMBERS OF THE BIGGEST FAMILY IN THE WORLD - NICKY´S FAMILY.
