Thank you so much to those of you that participated from all across Canada with the live IMAGINE with us web stream from Toronto on Monday the 22nd @ 5:30pm EST.

Considering the late cancellation of our event room booking at York University because of extreme security demands, we were very thankful to be able to find an off-site location, and put a quick remote studio together, so we could still come to you live. (Congrats to a committed and inventive group of volunteers on the ground who made it happen and thank you to all of you who tuned in from sea to sea!) We are perplexed by York Universities's behavior as our research into other similar events with an aggressive anti-Israel perspective did not appear to have the same extreme demands put on them. The situation is currently being investigated.

Again, we are thankful that due to the hard work of our team our virtual participants were able to listen to the speakers and ask questions via web stream. We of course regret that York University students did not have this same opportunity in person.

On a tech note, we apologize for the poor sound quality on Daniel Pipes section. This was due to a poor mic in the Skype connection. Again, due to the late notice of the cancellation by York University and the need to re-locate our entire set up, the tech team was not able to effectively troubleshoot this in advance. Thank you for sticking that portion through and still sending in amazing questions to dialogue with Mr. Pipes. Your engagement, from sea to sea, was very encouraging.

WHAT ABOUT THURSDAY'S SCHEDULED IMAGINE EVENT:

Because of the extreme security demands by York University, which lead to the cancellation of the event on-site, the coalition leadership team has decided NOT to run the event live again on Thursday. The reason for having two IMAGINE seminars with the same speakers was to give students on campus who could not attend on Monday an opportunity to do so in person on Thursday. Since this will not be possible, unless York changes their position, we will be posting the event from Monday (the 22nd) in video segments on this site instead. This will enable you to watch them at your convenience and pass them onto your networks. It will take us a few days to import and upload the entire seminar but we do hope to have the videos posted by the end of the week.

Thank you again for your interest and participation in the event. Again, we are disappointed with Yorks decision, especially in light of the fact that it seems it may be isolated to pro-Israel groups. Stay tuned on this site, or on our Face book event page for links to the videos, for any statements to the press that are made and articles that are written about this potential injustice.
